This is my Fulsom directory.  Sub-directories are arranged as follows:

  current - current source masters.
  glhi    - compilation directory for glhc.
  hbhi    - compilation directory for hbc.
  old     - old versions of fulsom.
  pics    - some sample processed output.
  raster  - output processor.

Running the renderer:

  usage:  fulsom [number] >out 2>err </dev/null

  "Raster" data is sent to stdout, where is should be saved, and fed
  into the "raster" program which will convert it into the popular
  Portable Bitmap Format, using 24 bits of colour information.
  This image may then be viewed with programs like xv or xloadiamge.

  The optional "number" argument specifies what level of recursion to
  use.  The default is 7, which leads to output at 128x128, typically
  taking a minute or two, given 8 Megabytes of real heap space.

  Recent tests show that specifying "number" as 9 requires around 96 meg,
  and takes about half an hour.  The output, however, is beautiful.

  Anybody who manages to get it to work with number>=10, has more memory
  or time than is good for them.
